Children and pets will not succeed in damaging this beautiful wooden floor. Hickory has a close grain giving it a natural look, making it quite versatile.
Maple
Maple is one of the most popular choices when it comes to hardwood flooring; it has a curly grain that is hard. Maple is used for bowling alleys, so you can bet it can handle most American households. Its light and refreshing color will suit almost any home, giving them a clean and bright look. As it ages, it gradually darkens a little.
Santos Mahogany
This beautiful exotic wood, also known as Cabreuva, is one of the favored choices in its range. It is quite similar to Brazilian Cherry, just a little lighter, with a variation in color, from dark brown to light, medium brown and orange. Its grain is wavy, showing exciting patterns. The color will become richer when it is exposed to light and will stabilize after just a few months.

Cumaru, which is Brazilian Chestnut, is quite a dense and tough wood; it is 270% harder than red oak! It is a beautiful wood, with an irregular, interlocked wavy grain. Cumaru has a lot of color variations, from medium brown to all shades of tan that complement one another, giving it a relaxing warmth, a good home to come home to! It is an excellent choice for wooden floors as it is very dense. Whether solid or engineered, it is resistant to time, traffic, termites, and decay. Typically, this wood comes from Brazil, Peru or Bolivia.
