What You’ll Experience at Our IDC Showroom

Hardwood Flooring Showroom in IDC Denver

Shopping for hardwood flooring can be stressful, especially if you feel pressured. At Tongue & Groove, education comes first in our showroom. We’re more than happy to answer your questions and take the time to get to know you so you can make a confident decision. You deserve it, especially when it’s such a huge investment.

Located in Denver’s Interior Design Community (IDC) building at 590 Quivas Street, our Denver Wood flooring showroom reflects the philosophy our founder Chris Keale built the company on: consistent results delivered through thoughtful process and genuine care for every client’s experience.

A Laid-Back, Educational Atmosphere

We aren’t here to push products or rush you into making a decision. Instead, we create a space for learning by showing samples of different wood species, explaining different finishes, discussing grade variations and helping you understand how each product performs in Colorado’s dry climate.

Our educational philosophy is present in everything we do. We help you understand the why behind our recommendations. Why does the species you choose matter to your lifestyle? Why do some finishes require more maintenance than others? How does Colorado’s dry climate affect different products? When you understand the reasoning, you can make informed decisions you won’t regret in a few years.

The Benefit of Being at the IDC

Our location is great for homeowners working on complete renovation or new construction projects. The IDC is a one-stop shop. You’ll find tile showrooms, cabinet suppliers, lighting specialists, countertop fabricators and several other design resources under one roof.

It makes it easy to coordinate your flooring choices with your other design selections so you end up with cohesive color palettes, complementary textures and integrated design visions. Why drive around Denver to different showrooms when you plan your entire project in one building?

Getting ready for a renovation or new construction project? You can easily find what you need in our IDC showroom. Walk in or schedule a visit to explore how you can integrate hardwood floors into your project.

18+ Years of Expertise at Your Service

We are proud of our team, many of whom have been with us since we opened in 2007. This means when you walk into our showroom, any flooring advice you receive is backed by nearly two decades of experience. We’ve installed floors in luxury custom homes, iconic Denver commercial spaces, museums, retail stores and hotels. Along the way, we’ve navigated every challenge Colorado’s climate brings and solved every installation issue you can imagine.

Feel free to ask questions. They’ll be answered by craftsmen who’ve installed thousands of hardwood floors, not sales representatives reading off product brochures. Our knowledge helps you understand what products exist and how they perform in real-world conditions after decades of use.

What to Expect During Your Visit

In our showroom, you’ll find both site-finished and prefinished hardwood options. We’ll also teach you about different wood species, grade differences and finishes. At Tongue & Groove, there are no “dumb questions.” When you’re investing in our hardwood, we foster an environment where curiosity leads to confidence.
